In the field of anthropological reconstruction, the cooperation between anthropologists and sculptors is very common, popular and convenient, as it brings a mixture of knowledge from different academic fields. The sculptor provides quality of execution and modelling, while the anthropologist is responsible for the scientific exactness of the work. Our cooperation started in 2014. Thanks to the growing interest of general public and professionals, has occured a need to based our activities. Therefore,  under the auspices of the Centre for Cultural Anthopology at Moravian Museum, the Laboratory of Anthropological Reconstruction (The LAR) was established. The main aim of our department is to display wealthy collection of significant anthropological findings from museum collection fonds and to do it in the very attractive form of lifelike 3D models. The LAR is mostly specialized in the reconstruction of humans and prehistoric men following basic tenets of the anthropological reconstruction and with usage of modern technologies. This highly desirable technique is often used in forensic anthropology and by criminologist .
